SPRING 2023: MEET ROD WASHINGTON, FROST BANK
As Dallas region president for Frost, Rod Washington provides leadership for the bank's Dallas region and its current expansion activities, and oversees all product, service and sales delivery activities in the region. During a 35-year financial services career, he has spent more than 15 years with Frost. He joined Frost as an executive vice president in charge of its Dallas-area real estate banking group and was named to his current position in November 2019.
Rod is a graduate of the University of Houston, C.T. Bauer College of Business with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance. An active leader and volunteer in the community, Rod serves on the board of directors of Dallas Methodist Hospital Foundation, including its finance committee, and the board of the Real Estate Council Community Fund and its loan committee. He is past chairman of the Dallas Bethlehem Center and Dallas Business Finance Corp, and has also served on the Dallas Housing Authority, Central Dallas Association and Oak Cliff Development boards of directors.
Rod was born and raised in southern Dallas. He and his wife live in DeSoto and are active members of Highland Hills United Methodist Church.
