MEET QUINCY ROBERTS:

Quincy Roberts a native of Oak Cliff, TX and Dallas ISD graduate is an accomplished entrepreneur, philanthropist and classical singer.

Mr. Roberts is the CEO of Q. Roberts Inc., a 3rd generation family-owned and operated commercial construction materials firm headquartered in Dallas, TX. Quincy took over the family business in 2006 and has grown the company from a two-truck operation to being the largest provider of construction earth moving trucks in the City of Dallas, TX, with more than 350 trucks and $25+ million in annual sales. Q. Roberts Inc. also performs sand and gravel mining, excavating, and demolition services.

He was a southwest regional finalist for the world-renowned Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Other notable accomplishments include D CEO magazine’s Dallas 500 list of top business leaders, the Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce Quest for Success Award, The Regional Black Contractors award for Sub-Contractor of The Year, Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program's Highest Job Growth Award and the coveted Dallas Business Journal's 40 under 40 Award.

Quincy Roberts a basso profundo has performed as a soloist with several North American opera companies and symphonies including The Cincinnati Symphony, The Dallas Symphony, Pittsburgh Festival Opera, Chautauqua Opera and Piedmont Opera. Notable performances included Count Ceprano in Rigoletto with the Dallas Opera, Der Sprecher in Mozart's Die Zauberflöte with Opera Carolina and Joe in Showboat with Mobile Opera. A Native of Dallas, Tx Roberts has a degree in Vocal Performance from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University. Quincy currently resides in Dallas with his wife and two children. He is the Chairman of The Board of Directors at The Dallas Opera, Vice-Chairman of The Dallas Symphony Executive Board and also serves on the board of Family Gateway Homeless Shelter. Mr. Roberts is the Founder of the Opera Truck, a community outreach initiative co-partnered with The Dallas Opera that provides free Opera performances throughout DFW.
